Bushmeat chronology in TL2
The Bushmeat chain starts with the Hunter. Then there is the Transporter and the Vendor and finally the Consumer. This chain is supported by illegal ammunition and a tax system that keeps domestic meat more expensive than wild meat. To break the chain collaboration with authorities and villagers is essential.
Botanical research in Congo
The first botanical studies were done during the colonial era. Our own work started in the Ituri forest in the 1980s and we hope to continue in the TL2 forest in central Congo.
