Traditionally some of this is Mbole land, some Tetela, some Balengola land...etc. All those people -- speaking through their elders and speaking through community gatherings and working with community maps -- have to agree that what they want is to preserve some of their land with all of its wildlife. That is why we have not even starting delimitation of a protected area...to happen correctly it will necessarily be a long process Land ownership, land rights, the future of the land….. those are the key to where our work is going.
